Jeffrey A. Green, 23, of Rockford, IL, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in his home. Jeff was born June 10, 1992 in Rockford, IL, son of Shawn Green and Bonnie Cannegieter. He graduated from Harlem High School and went on to earn his Airframe and Power Plant certificate from Rock Valley College. Jeff was employed at UTC Aerospace as a mechanic. He had a passion for music, playing in several bands as a drummer and a vocalist. Jeff had many friends, and was loved and admired by all. He was always there for everyone when they needed him. He loved football, especially the Denver Broncos. Jeff's biggest joy in life was his daughter, Aubrey.

Jeff is loved and will be missed by his mother, Bonnie Cannegieter; father, Shawn (Sara) Green; daughter, Aubrey Green; brothers, Vaun, Logan, Gage Green; maternal grandparents, John and Sue Cannegieter; paternal grandparents, Sam and Betsy Green; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and numerous friends. He is preceded in death by his special uncle, Mike Cannegieter.

Time of sharing and reflections will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m., prior to the time of sharing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established for Aubrey.
