Jeffrey M. Boose, 44, of Normal, passed away suddenly, Monday, July 10, 2017 in Rockford, IL. He was born December 1, 1972 in Belvidere, IL, son of Milton F. and Marsha E. (Crawford) Boose, Jr. He graduated from Belvidere High School, Class of 1991, and went on to get his Master's Degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in Pastoral Counseling. Jeff proudly served in the United States Navy. He married Christy L. Woodall on January 1, 1999 in Norfolk, VA. Jeff worked as a Pastor, helping many people. He was a member of Evangelical Free Church of Bloomington. Jeff enjoyed lifting weights, running, and always had his nose in a book.

Jeff is loved and missed by his wife, Christy; children, Donevan (Annie) Owens, Sarah Boose, and Justin Boose; his mother, Marsha Strang, his father, Milton (Beatrice) Boose, Jr.; and sister, Nicki Boose. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m., until 2:45 p.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
