Jean E. (Keast) Lehr, 79, of Belvidere, IL, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at The Atrium Assisted Living. She was born March 29, 1937 in McHenry County, IL, daughter of Everett and Mary (Anderson) Mordt. Jean married Alden Keast on June 15, 1957 in Harvard, IL. Jean married Reinhold Lehr on August 28, 2007. Jean worked at Dean Foods for 33 years.  She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Steven Ministries and Boone County Gardeners of America. Jean enjoyed shopping, gardening traveling and camping. She made her spiritual home at Capron Lutheran Church.

Jean is loved and will be missed by her children, Susan (Cliff) Kreger, Patsy Keast, Steven Keast; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as extended family in Alberta Canada.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands; sister, Doris (Sam) Henderson; brothers, Lyle Mordt, and John Mordt.

Funeral service will be held at Saturday, July 9,2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Capron Lutheran Church, 155 South 2nd Street, Capron, IL 61012.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the Church.
