Janet Sue (Shultis) Koets, 76, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at home with her family by her side.  She was born February 17, 1941 in Evanston, IL.  Janet was the secretary and co-owner of Orville Quante Septic Service for many years.  She remained at home during her illness and in the last several months had wonderful caregivers to help the family.

Janet will be greatly missed and remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Janet is survived by her husband Darwin of 54 years; son, Thad and Danis Koets; daughter, Amy Branham; son in-law, Todd Branham; grandchildren, Jake and Grace Koets, James and Austin Branham; sister, Peggy (Byron) Olsen; brother, JB (Chelle) Shultis and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 Belvidere Rd., Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Allan Buss officiating.  Burial will be in Flora Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2018 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008 and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the church.  In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Janet's name.  To share a remembrance please visit www.AndersonFCS.com
