Belvidere, IllinoisJames R. Schultz, 69, of Belvidere, IL died Thursday afternoon, June 12, 2008 in the emergency room of OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a sudden illness. Jim was born November 28, 1938 in Columbus, Wisconsin the son of Elmer and Linda (Voss) Schultz. Jim married Naomi Klatt on June 1, 1957 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He retired from American Bottling Company where he was an Area Sales Manager after more than 30 years of service. Jim was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he served as an Elder, and was a former member of the National Guard and Belvidere Jay Cee's.He is survived by his children, Debra (David) Ryman of Janesville, WI, Stuart (Marcia) Schultz of Yukon, OK; grandchildren, Justin (Amanda) and Leann Ryman, Michala and Carson Schultz; former wife, Naomi Schultz, of Belvidere, IL; brothers, Ralph of Friendship, WI, Phil (Roxanne) of Mendota, IL, Gerald (Barbara) of Belvidere, IL; sister, Kathy (Ed) Link of Columbus, WI; sisters in-law Doris Schultz of Sycamore, IL and Mary Schultz of Kankakee, IL; many nieces and nephews. He predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Carol and Joyce; five brothers, Claude, Elmer, Jr, Robert, Marion and Merlin.

A memorial will be established with Helping Hands or Immanuel Lutheran Church in Jim's memory.
