James A. Motley, 62 of Belvidere, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 in Swedish-American Hospital after a sudden illness. Born July 13, 1942 in Kewanee, Illinois, the son of John and Doris (Boshell) Motley. He has lived most of his life in Belvidere, coming here from Marengo. He was married to Linda L. Roush in Union, Illinois on July 10, 1964. She preceded him in death in 1996. He was employed in the Research and Development by Arnold Engineering Co. 33 years before retiring in September 2004. He is a graduate of McHenry High School. Survivors include, Daughter, Jennifer (Curt) Coole, and son, Thomas (Tracey) Motley, both of Loves Park, Illinois; five grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica and Jacob Motley; Shelby Eash and Brandy Coole; a sister, Donna (Al) Hoye, Belvidere.
