James "Jim" A. Roberts, 55, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully May 2, 2018 in Alden Debes Care Center. Jim was born September 10, 1962 in Belvidere IL, the son of Arkie (McCoy) Bennett. Jim spent most of his life as a route salesman until he became disabled due to several back issues and surgeries. Jim enjoyed watching NASCAR and following the news.

He is loved and will be missed by his mother, Arkie Bennett; "wife" Lora L. (Mahurin) Roberts; his children, Amanda (Steve Sink) Roberts and Travis Roberts; grandchild, Ivan Sink; brothers Michael (Debbie) Roberts and Ed (Cindi) Bennett as well as other numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Roberts, nephew, Michael Roberts, and his dad, Thomas Bennett

A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL 61008 with a time of remembrance at 2:00 p.m. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
