Jacqueline "Jackie" Mae Woosley, 54, of Belvidere, IL went to be with the lord on June 3, 2017. She was born December 7, 1962, in Belvidere, to Jerry and Jeanette (Kopp) Harleman. She married her high school sweetheart of 37 years, Craig Woosley on July 11, 1981 at First United Methodist Church in Belvidere.
Jackie graduated from Belvidere High School in 1981 and received her beautician license from Altamore Educators of Beauty Cosmetology School. She was employed as an office assistant and lunch lady at Washington Elementary in school district 100 for many years. Jackie was a member of First United Methodist in Belvidere. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and grandchildren, sewing, playing cards, canning and cooking. She entered exhibits into the Boone County Fair and loved to bake. She was also a past member of the Jaycees. Jackie was a fan of college sports and the biggest fan of the Green Bay Packers. She was a mother figure to many other people.
Jackie is loved and missed by her husband, Craig; mother, Jeanette (Max) Gardner; children, David (Erin Vore) Woosley, Joshua (Rachel) Woosley; sister, Joanie (Rick) Martinez; sister-in-law, Pat Gosch; grandchildren, Eli Craig Woosley, Brody Michael Vore, Baylor Mae Woosley, Huntley Rae Woosley; nieces and nephews, Dustin (Beth) Greenhow, Brock (Brianne) Greenhow, Caleigh (Devin) Fox, Alicia Martinez; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Marie Dinsmore and Trisha Kunz.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Harleman; grandparents, Willis and Vera Kopp, Elmer and Ethel Harleman; sister-in-law, Sharon Woosley; cousins, carmen Schrader and Daniel Kopp.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday , June 8, at First United Methodist Church , 610 Bonus Ave, Belvidere, IL. 61008, with Reverend Monty Fox officiating. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL, 61008.
