Poplar Grove, ILJack W. Virgin, Sr., 63 of Poplar Grove, IL died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday morning March 8, 2011. Jack was born August 3, 1947 in Chicago, IL the son of Jack H and Carolyn (Koeller) Virgin. He married Griselda "GiGi" Golloso on April 4, 1970 in the Philippines. Jack retired from the US Navy as Yeoman's Mate First Class after serving for 22 years. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, a model train enthusiast and collector; as well as an aficionado of music.Jack is loved and will be missed by his wife, GiGi; sons, Jack W. (Tera) Virgin, Jr. of Belvidere, Sean (Christina) Virgin of Poplar Grove, Erik (Natalie Saafeld) Virgin of Cherry Valley, IL; grandchildren, Emily, Jack III, Chris, Iliana, Orion, Magnus and Madison Lee. Jack is predeceased by his parents.

A memorial will be established in his name in care of his family.
