J. Ellen Seelhoff, was born June 17, 1944, in Verona, IL, the daughter of Ivan and Vera BedekerWest, and departed this earthly life on March 15, 2009, in her home. She lived in Belvidere most of her life. She worked at Poulters, owned her own lawn care business, and was a member of the Belvidere Ladies of the Moose. J. Ellen loved life, her family, and her friends. J. Ellen leaves to cherish many loving memories her husband Ron Seelhoff; daughter Erica (Chris) Boose; 3 grandchildren, Dezzion Turner, Jyia and Christopher Boose; 3 step-grandchildren; mother-in-law Hettie Wilkie; aunt Leona Willis; sisters Bev (Bernell) Koppen, Elsie McGrady, Sandy (Dave) Fider, Diane Wachlin, Judy (Jim) Gough, and Candy Rogers; brothers Gene (Donna), Bill (Sally), and Ron West; many beloved nieces and nephews, including special nieces Season (Steve) Pavell, Summer (Chris) Schuler, Kim (Jerry) Murdock, and Robynn (Mike) Ingersoll; and lots of friends, including special friend, Rodger Johnson. J. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerry West.
