Belvidere, IllinoisIrmgard Faley, 76, of Belvidere, IL died Thursday evening, May 18, 2006 in her daughter's home, surrounded by her loving family. Irmgard was born May 13, 1930 in Furth, Germany the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Karl Uttenreuther. She came to the United States in 1952 and was united in marriage to John Faley in January of 1953 in Amboy, IL. Over the years, Irmgard worked for various companies retiring from Warner Electric in Marengo in June of 1995 after 18 years of service. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, the American Legion Auxiliary; she was an avid supporter of numerous charities. She enjoyed traveling and walks in Belvidere and Spencer Parks and making sure that the neighborhood squirrels were well fed. Survivors include her children, Fred (Debby) of Yacolt, WA, John of Seattle, WA, Dan of Westborough, MA, Darline Christiansen of Belvidere, IL; grandchildren, Nate (Kim) of Battle Ground, WA, Ben of Chelatchie Prairie, WA, Bethany of Yacolt, WA, Freddie of Yacolt, WA, Shannon (Jay) Redden of Cherry Valley, IL and Mark (Michelle) Bloomfield of Joliet, IL; four great grandchildren; sister, Emma Murphy of Walnut, IL; brother Rudolph Uttenreuther of Germany; nieces and nephews. Irmgard is predeceased by her parents, husband, John and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established Irmgard's name.
