Ingrid L. Amberg, 64, of Mundelein, Illinois, died Friday, December 31, 2010 in her home. Ingrid was born on April 9, 1946 in Belvidere, Illinois; the daughter of Clyde "Steve" and Arlene (Pearson) Fulling. Ingrid graduated from Guilford High School, Rockford, Illinois. She attended Rockford College and graduated from the College of Lee County with an Associate degree as a Library Technician Assistant. She has been a ten year resident of Mundelein, moving there from Des Plaines, Illinois. Ingrid married Robert V. Amberg in Rockford, Illinois on August 31, 1968. She was employed as a Librarian for Des Plaines District 62 and then later for Freemont Township Library. Ingrid was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Vernon Hills, Illinois; Project Linus and Daughters of the Nile Alabet Temple 31. Ingrid was a very creative person with a real eye for composition. She enjoyed quilting and basket weaving. She is survived by her husband, Robert; a daughter Gretchen Amberg both of Mundelein, Illinois; a son, Eric (Renae) Amberg of Des Plaines, Illinois; and a half-brother, Dave (Molly) Fulling of Rockford, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents.
