Ida B. DiMario, 100, of Belvidere, IL, passed away Monday evening, April 4, 2016 at Northwoods Care Center. Born January 1, 1916 in Boone County, IL, daughter of Charles and Lura (Branierd) Leonard. She married Frank DiMario on January 11, 1947 in Rockford, IL, he preceded her in death on March 23, 1979. Ida was the owner/ operator of Uptown Tavern in Genoa as well as Ida's Ranch Wear and Saddlery in Genoa. She was a faithful member of Saint James Catholic Church in Belvidere. Ida adored horseback riding. She also enjoyed ballroom dancing and country dancing.

Ida is survived by her sister, Geraldine Ambler; several nieces and nephew. She dearly loved her dogs and horses. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank; soulmate, Roger Seymour; 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Memorial service will be held at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. Cremation rites have been accorded.
