Hugo Enrique Sanchez Santamaria, 41 of Belvidere, Il passed away peacefully, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in his home surrounded by those he loves and who love him.  Hugo was born May 14, 1977 in Mexico the son of Constancio Sanchez and Virginia Santamaria.  He married Julia Barrientos on November 24, 2001 in Belvidere, IL.  Hugo was employed in residential construction and enjoyed reading, writing, playing his guitar and listening to music.  Hugo made his spiritual home with Emerge Christian Ministry at First United Methodist Church in Belvidere.

Hugo is loved and will be missed by his wife, Julia; children, Hugo and Diego; siblings, Cesar, Garbriela and Lidia and his parents, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2018 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Service, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 with Pastor Cristobal Ramirez officiating at the funeral home.  Cremation rites to follow.  Memorials can be given in care of Hugo's family.
