Herbert O. (Otto) Zenker, 102, of Huntley, formerly of Capron, died at 10:00 AM Sunday, April 15, 2007, following a brief illness. He was born March 10, 1905, in (Saxony) Germany, the son of August Otto and Minah Adler Zenker, coming to this country as a small child. He married the former Lillian V. Miczyk in Chicago June 8, 1935; she died February 24, 2006. Mr. Zenker was a retired metallurgist, having worked for Chicago Screw Co. and later Standadyne Corp. He was a member of Capron Lutheran Church, the Capron Lions Club, and the Capron Grange.Survivors include two sons, Steve (Arlene) Zenker, Hampshire, IL, and Arnold (Marie) Zenker, Arcadia, FL; 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
