Henry A. Woosley, 65, of Belvidere, IL, died Thursday, May 8, 2014, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Henry was born September 18, 1948 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, son of Caswell and Thelma (Craig) Woosley. He married Sharon Herkey on September 22, 1990. He was employed by John Deere and R.J. Daniels. Henry was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He loved to read and there was nothing that Henry couldn't fix. Henry was a family man who loved music. He was a member of the American Legion and Boone Lake.
He is loved and will be missed by his wife, Sharon; children, John (Dawn) Woosley, Wendy Woosley, Sheila Booher, Sara (Scott) Smith; brother, Craig (Jackie) Woosley; sister, Patricia Woosley (Lewis-Gosch); 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents and brother, Wayne Woosley.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 12, 2014 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL, with Rev. Dudley Matties officiating. Visitation will take place from 2-5 PM, Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
