Helen T. Schmidt, 87, of Poplar Grove, IL passed away March
9, 2019 in Belvidere, IL. Born on February 22, 1932 to Vern and Alice Schafman
in Belvidere, IL. Helen married the love of her life, George Schmidt on July 1,
1950 in Belvidere, IL. Helen was passionate about sewing, quilting, bird
watching and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and will be
missed by all.

Helen is loved and missed by her children, Karen (Gordon)
Richardson, Alan Schmidt; grandchildren, Chris Richardson, James (Cathy)
Richardson, Jere (Nicole) Richardson; great- grandchildren, Cody Richardson,
Brenden Richardson, Emma Richardson, Morgan Richardson, Daniel Richardson; sisters
Rita, Alice, Carol, MaryEllen, Joyce as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George, parents and sisters, Doris and
Grace.
