Obituary

Helen K. Pearson, 92, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on August 3, 2016 at Maple Crest Care Centre in Belvidere. She was born on July 21, 1924, in South Grove Township, IL to Verdie and Jessie (Barnes) Miller. Helen married her sweetheart, John Gordon Pearson, on September 11, 1943 in Rockford, IL.

She retired from Aubrey's  in Union, IL, where she worked in the manufacturing department for 35 years.  She loved to dance at various clubs in the Belvidere area.  She was a volunteer and loved to help people at Parkside Manor. Interests include puzzles and garage sales.

Helen is loved and missed by her children, Clint (Margaret) Pearson and Don (Ginger) Pearson; grandchildren, Marcey, Robbie, Kim, Scott and Dawn; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Natalie, Tanner, Caylin, Teagan, Tanner John, Korbin, Kristopher, Justin and Trevor; great-great-grandchildren, Bentley and Easton; brother, Dale Miller; sister, Ruth Dovenmuhle;  and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers, George (Sharon) Miller and Harold Miller; sister-in-law, Carol Miller; her parents; her loving great-granddaughter, Courtney Pearson; and a special friend, George Barton.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 7th at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008.
