Belvidere, IllinoisHelen L. Kludt, 66, of Belvidere, IL died Tuesday morning, May 11, 2010 in Homebridge Care Center after a lingering illness. Helen was born September 14, 1943 in Baraboo, Wisconsin the daughter of Gene and Louise (Streeck) Spratt. She married Donald G. Kludt on September 12, 1964 in Baraboo. She worked several years for Champion Packaging where she retired as a supervisor and then worked for Perryville F.S. Helen was a sports fan. She enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, college basketball, catching a baseball game and devoted seventeen years in the concession stand for the Belvidere Youth Baseball League. Helen had a wonderful spirit and personality that people fell in love with when they met her. She is loved and will be missed by her husband, Donald; son, Robert (Kim) Kludt of Machesney Park; her mother, Louise Spraat; grandchildren, Michelle, Danielle, Kalden and Rissa; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Canden; sister Joyce Hummel of Neenah, WI. Helen is predeceased by her father, Gene Spratt.
