Belvidere, IllinoisHelen L. Juris, 91, of Belvidere, Illinois died Tuesday morning, April 3, 2007 in Swedish American Hospital. Helen was born October 16, 1915 in Poplar Grove, Illinois the daughter of Gulick and Mabel (Anderson) Georgeson. She married George Juris on November 16, 1932. Helen and George worked at the ship yards at Pearl Harbor prior to and during the attack. Helen was a beautician for many years and after her husband's retirement, enjoyed wintering in Brownsville, Texas. Other travels that Helen enjoyed were white water rafting with her daughter in Wyoming and visiting Wall Drug in South Dakota. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Women of the Moose.Survivors include her daughter, Glenda Juris of Belvidere; sisters, Iva Maitland of Poplar Grove, IL and Ruth Burnett of Rockford, IL several nieces and nephews and special friend Frieda Fiebrantz.Helen is predeceased by her parents, husband, George; sisters, Marian Georgeson, Iolene Gilbertson, Anna Loft, Neva Holtfreter; infant brother, Earl Georgeson.

A memorial will be established in care of Helen's family.
