Born May 20, 1924 in Belvidere; daughter of Carl and Emma (Hartman) Loudenbeck. Married Melvin Hove on May 25, 1945 in Capron; he died in 1997. Helen was a member of the Capron Lutheran Church and Women of the Moose including the Academy of Friendship. Survivors include her daughters Marilyn (Dennis) Culvey of Belvidere, Judy (Kim) Prentice of Denver, CO; grandchildren Christopher Culvey, Ryan (April) Culvey, Nicole, Megan, and Andrew Prentice; and great-grandchildren McKenzie, Brayden, and Addie Culvey, Alana and Teagan Culvey. Predeceased by her parents, husband Melvin; daughter Linda Hove; sisters Jennie Peters, Lois Dahlgren; brothers Henry, Lee, Elmer, and Joe Loudenbeck.
