Helen L. Anderson, 96, of Belvidere, died Friday, March 14, 2014 in her daughter's home following a short illness. She was born on December 1, 1917 in Boone Co. Illinois; the daughter of Louis and Iva Belle (McKiski) Meyers. Helen graduated from Belvidere High School. She married Leonard Anderson in Belvidere on November 24, 1960. She worked as a waitress at the Beacon Restaurant. Helen was a very active member of First Presbyterian Church, holding memberships in the Faith Circle and as a leader of the Spares and Pairs group. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Daluga; step-son, Bruce Anderson; 4 grandchildren, Steven (Ronda) Hyser, Alan (Lisa) Hyser, Jeff (Debbie) Hyser, Darren (Sharon Rand) Hyser; a step-grandson; 9 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Ann (David) Danielson. Helen was preceded in death by parents, husband, great-granddaughter, Kayla Jo Hyser and 2 brothers, Russell and LaVerne Meyers.

Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel 218 W. Hurlbut Av. Belvidere, IL. The Rev. Dr. Robert Kopp and the Rev.
