Hazel May (Gilliland) Kindberg, 96, of Caledonia, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, August 11, 2014. Born February 25, 1918 in Genoa, IL to Willie E. and Florence (Shearer) Worley. Married William Gilliland on October 14, 1945, then Hilding Laverne Kindberg on March 27, 1971 in Caledonia. Member of Caledonia Congregational Church and Ladies Aid. 35 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 205. Member of the Sharon Sunshine Club. Survivors include two step-sons, Russell (Clariene) Kindberg of Machesney Park, IL; Karl (Robin) Kindberg of Caledonia, IL sister, Frances (Clarence) Swanson, Cherry Valley, IL; 5 grandchildren, Kelly, Karrie, Timothy Kindberg, all of Caledonia; Russell (Wendy) Kindberg, Jr.; of Lanark, IL; Scott (Kathy) Kindberg, of Minnesota; and 6 great-grandchildren, Lily, Mason, Cassie and Kaisa of Lanark; Zachariah and Alexandria of Minnesota and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, both husbands, Bill Gilliland and Lavern Kindberg; 3 brothers, Lawrence, Lester and Clarence Worley and sister, Helen Lungstrom.

Funeral Services 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 16, 2014 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel with Rev. Gary Schwerin officiating. Burial in Dunham-Chemung Cemetery.
