Harold “Moose” Pohlman transitioned from this life on September 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of family. Moose was born on October 16, 1941 to Mabel and Harold Pohlman, in Chicago, Illinois.

Moose was a simple man with a great sense of humor and who cherished his family. While he enjoyed spending time watching TV, he loved being outdoors or being in the barn fixing and tinkering. He was always trying to build or cobble together something to make life easier giving no thought to how ridiculous it might look. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his dog Dusty.

He leaves behind a legacy, which includes his beloved wife, Carol; son Eric (Yoshe); and adored grandchildren Eric, Joseph, Victoria, and Alexander. He is also survived by his sister, Dorothy (the late Red) Otterman.

He was greeted in the afterlife by his parents Mabel and Harold, and his son, Jason.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 at Immanuel Lutheran Church (1045 Belvidere Rd, Belvidere, IL). Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment immediately to follow at Shattuck's Grove Cemetery.
