Harold M. Horner, 76, of Belvidere, died in his home Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Born May 31, 1935 in Greenville, Tenn, son of Hubert and Bonnie (Jones) Horner. Served in the US Army. Married Sharon Peck on Oct. 1, 1971 in Belvidere. Worked at National Gray Iron Foundry and McKinney's. Harold enjoyed fishing, building outdoor decorations and loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.Survivors include his loving wife Sharon, daughters Brenda (Tom) Page of Belvidere, Kim (Bob) Peterson of Midway, Tenn, sons Doug (Theresa) Peck of Belvidere, Michael Horner of Tampa, FL, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Hensley and Margaret (Bill) Renner, and brother Johnny (Diane) Horner. Predeceased by his parents, daughter Debbie Shelton, son Wayne Horner, great-grandson Shane Horner, and brothers Charles, Don, Mib, and Junior.
