H. Jean Skrine, 75, of Roscoe, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 in Homebridge Rehabilitation Center, Belvidere following a lengthy illness. She was born on February 4, 1934 in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Thomas and Tamina Rasmussen. Jean attended Edgerton, Wisconsin schools. She and Edgar have lived in Roscoe the past 13 years going there from Belvidere. Jean was married to Edgar C. Skrine, II in Dubuque, Iowa on February 9, 1952. She belonged to Mosaic- Rockford Church, the Eastern Star, Edgerton, Wisconsin. Jean enjoyed fishing and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Edgar, of Roscoe; four children, Linda J. Graves, Roscoe; Edgar C. (Sue) Skrine, III, Belvidere, Illinois; Steven N. (Marion) Skrine, Misson Viejo, California and Patricia A Skine, Owls Head, Maine; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a grandson, David E. Silberhorn and twelve sisters and brothers.
