Guy M. Johnson, 90, of Belvidere IL went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2022. He was born on May 10, 1932. Guy was a deeply dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. On February 23, 1957 he married the love of his life, Norma, and together they shared 3 children and 65 years in marriage. He served in the United States Army. Guy was a hard-working man and worked for Sundstrand for 33 years. He was a talented pitcher in fast pitch softball. He enjoyed working on bicycles and buying and selling cars. Guy was a member of the Church of Christ for many years. He loved fishing and above all quality time with his family. He will be missed by many.

He leaves to cherish his' memory, his wife, Norma; children, Donald Johnson, Lisa (Gary) Rangel, and Robert Johnson; grandchildren, Barbara, Amy, Adam, Jessica, Alisha, Danielle, Katelyn, Danny, and Sean; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy, Tony, and Sue; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, whom he loved dearly.

He is welcomed into heaven by his parents, Cecil and Ralph Johnson; grandchildren, Eric Johnson, Justin Williams, and Melissa Johnson; and siblings, Claud, Joe Bill, and Peggy.

A visitation for Guy will be Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11am at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 218 W. Hurlbut in Belvidere, IL 61008. A Funeral will follow at 12pm, officiated by: Pastor Chris Hvezda.

Burial at Highland Garden of Memories.
