Gregorio DeLeon, 102, of Roscoe, IL died peacefully, November 27, 2024, in Roscoe. He was born May 9, 1922, in Cotulla, Texas, son to Petronilo DeLeon and Juanita Martinez- DeLeon. Gregorio served in the Army Air Corp during WW II and was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He married his love, Feliciana Salinas DeLeon. He was a member of St. James Church and was a security guard for Arnold Engineering in Marengo for many years upon retiring. Interests include fishing, WWE Wrestling and dancing to Polka music. He especially loved to dance with his sweetheart, Feliciana. He was a kind giver to St. Jude and loved the Lord. He enjoyed spending time with family often taking video of family events for keepsake memories.

He is loved and will be missed by many including his children, Anna, Greg, Oscar, Vi, Rebecca, Norma, Elsa and Mario; 29 grandchildren; 60 great- grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews; and his little dog  "Butterfly" Paloma.

Gregorio is preceded by his parents; wife, Feliciana; great-granddaughter, Thalia Arrendondo; four brothers; and three sisters.

A visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services. A funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 7, 11 a.m.,  at St. James Church in Belvidere.
