Obituary

Gotthilf H. Eisenbraun, 91, of South Elgin, died Monday, September 26, 2011 in Tower Hill Heathcare Center. Born March 8, 1920 in Creighton, South Dakota, son of Albert and Ludmilla (Moser) Eisenbraun. Served in the US Army during WWII. Married Elizabeth Cathcart Williamson on June 29, 1946. Worked as a farmer in South Dakota and a custodian for St. Paul Lutheran School, Addison, IL and Immanuel Lutheran School, Wisconsin Rapids. Was an avid White Sox fan and enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his daughters Agnes (Richard) Sabel of Nekoosa, WI, Janice (Kurt) Sampson of South Elgin, sons Phillip (Deborah) of Yorkville, Gregory (Lori) of Elmhurst, and Bruce (Diane) of Kenosha, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, sisters Elnora Drewitz of Racine, WI, Adeline (Armond) Ochsner of Sutton, Nebraska, brothers Arnold (Arlene) of Hanover Park, and Helmuth (Carol) of Smithville, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, wife Elizabeth, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
