Gordon A. "Gordy" Kasper, 67, of Belvidere, died Tuesday May 17, 2005 in his home. He was born on September 29, 1937 in Belvidere, the son of William G. and Ruth (McKiski) Kasper. He was the founder of Kasper Trucking Inc., lifelong farmer, a social member of John Hugo Kaiser Post #1461 of V.F.W., the Loyal Order of the Moose Belvidere Lodge #295, Coon Creek Casters, Badger State Tractor Pulling Association, and Illini Tractor Pulling Association. His favorite pastime was playing cards. He is survived by his partner; Roberta "Bobbi" Clark, daughter; Cynthia Kasper of Chicago, sons; Gary (Shari) Kasper of Garden Prairie, Gordon W. (Aimee) Kasper of Pecatonica, Edward Kasper of Morton, IL., Brian (Mindy) Smith of Belvidere, 5 grandchildren; Jacob, Joshua, Aidan, Molly, and Paige, sister; Joan (Wally) Perrett of Rockton, brother; George (Beth) Kasper of Rockford, and one of his best friends; Jack Spotz. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Wesley Kasper.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in his name.
