Gordon L. Deets, 81, of Belvidere, past quietly in his sleep, Wednesday, June 1, 2005. He was born on November 14, 1923 in Bloom City, Wisconsin to Buford and Bessie (Norman) Deets. Gordon moved to Belvidere in 1956, coming here from Richland Center, Wisconsin. He worked as a laborer in construction through the Labor's Union in Marengo. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army. In addition to his membership in the Labor Union, he was also a member of the American Legion, Post 13, Richland Center.He is survived by, daughter, Nancie Wienk, Garden Pairie, Illinois;A son-in-law, Kenneth Wienk;Sister, Lucille Hardy, Richland Center, Wisconsin;Brother, Corliss (Ann) Deets, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin;Five nieces and nephews and two grandchildren;
