Gloria Jean Brunschon, 76, of Belvidere, IL passed away Monday morning, May 23, 2022, in her home after a short battle with cancer. Gloria was born September 14, 1945, in Woodstock, IL the daughter of Kermit and Edith (Kopsell) Davis. Following her high school graduation, Gloria was a stay-at-home mother until her children were full time students. At that point she went to work for Warner Electric, along with her husband, Jon. She married Jon William Brunschon on July 31, 1965, in Marengo, IL. To this union three children would be born. Gloria and Jon were members of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. Gloria also enjoyed the competitiveness and comradery of bowling on a league. As a lover of art, Gloria enjoyed the art classes she completed over the years. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Gloria is loved and will be missed by her children, Charlene Croyle of Belvidere, IL, Jon Wayne (Ellen) Brunschon of Henry, IL, Michael William Brunschon of Marengo, IL, grandchildren, Thomas Brunschon and Victoria Croyle. She is reunited in death to her parents; husband, Jon on January 11, 2022; brother, Kermit; sister, Patricia; and two grandchildren.

Gloria's memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the American Legion, Boone Post 77, 900 W. Chrysler Dr., Belvidere, IL 61008.
