Glenn Charles LeFevre, 78, of Belvidere, IL, passed away, Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Glenn was born June 13, 1944, the son of Elmer and Carrie (Heckman) LeFevre. Glenn was an E4 Specialist in the United States Army, serving his country from 1962 – 1965. He married Eliane, the love of his life, June 12, 1965 in Fort Dix, New Jersey. They went on to have 4 children together.
Glenn was an extremely hard working man who loved his family. His wife, Eliane, was his whole world. His children describe him as being humble, loving, handsome, soft spoken and strong. Glenn was an active member of the NRA, affiliated with the Moose Lodge and had a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Glenn is loved and will be missed dearly by his children, Charles (Marcy) LeFevre, Janet (David) Ziegler, Michael LeFevre and Debra Ries; his grandchildren, Andrew (Elizabeth) LeFevre, Ashley (fiancé Scott McFall) LeFevre, Alan (Ashland) LeFevre, Nicole (Branden) White, Stephanie Ziegler, Brooke Kempf, Brandon LeFevre, Jamie Ries, E.J. Ries and Ethan Ries; his great grandchildren, Rhett, Ryan, and Ridley LeFevre, Rowen Christopher White, Caiden, Dacotah and Jeremiah Kempf, and Lillian Ries; and his niece Linda LeFevre Sisto.
Glenn is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eliane LeFevre; his parents, Elmer and Carrie LeFevre, and his brother Paul LeFevre.
Glenn's visitation service will be held Friday, July 1, 2022, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL 61008, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. with funeral service immediately following. Pastor Keith Richard will officiate. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, in Dixon, IL.
