Glenn Ole Johnson, 80, of Caledonia, IL, passed away on August 10, 2023 at home with his family by his side. He was born on November 23, 1942 in Belvidere, IL. The son of Ruth and George Johnson. Glenn graduated from North Boone High School, class of 1960. He went on to serve in the United States Army, based in Fort Bliss. On November 18, 1967 he married the love of his life, Linda, and together they shared 3 children and 55 years of marriage. Glenn worked for many years at General Mills, in Belvidere, in maintenance until his retirement. He enjoyed lawn care and tractors, and quality time with his family. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Johnson; their children, Glenn A. Johnson, Dawn (John) Sands, Brian (Kim) Johnson; grandchildren, Rowan, Kaitlee and Kelsee, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. He is predeceased by his parents, Ruth and George Johnson; sisters, Gladys Mundy and Gloria Mittman; and brothers, George and Gail Johnson.

Glenn's visitation will be Friday, August 18 between the hours of 10am and 12pm at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. Funeral service to follow at 12pm and burial at Highland Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
