Glenn C. Geroux, 79, died Saturday, November 16, 2013 in his home after a lengthy illness. He was born October 6, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; the son of Henry and Mildred (Borton) Geroux. He was married to Patricia Morse in Oak Park, Illinois on October 16, 1954. She preceded him in death. He later married Mildred Allen in Belvidere on June 7, 2008. Glenn was employed as a maintenance manager for Chrysler Corporation. He served in the Naval Reserves. Glenn was a lifetime member of Belvidere Moose #295. He helped enroll 158 new members and received the Pilgrim Degree of Merit on June 2, 2012. He was also a member of St. James Catholic Church and was also an administrator for the Belvidere V.F.W. and American Legion. He enjoyed traveling, family, dancing, friends, going to the Casinos and gardening. Glenn is survived by his wife, Mildred; 3 daughters, Laura (Tom) Knabe; Cheryl (Rich) Dahl; Deborah (Jim) Raper; 6 grandchildren, Daniel Cruz,Patricia Cruz, Duane (Crystal) Kastning, Alex Knabe, Nicholas Knabe, Autumn Knabe; 2 great grandchildren, Dominic and Dario Cruz; a sister-in-law, Lois Geroux; Mildred's children, the late, Gregory Allen; Tom (Maggie) Allen, Margaret (Joe) Oskorep, Nancy (Randy) Little; Mildred's grandchildren, Jennifer Rose Statler, Michael (Naomi) Allen, Zachary Hillmann, Michelle Oskorep, Michael Oskorep; Mildred's great-grandchildren, Cory, Natalie, Chase and MiKyle. In addition to his first wife, Glenn is preceded in death by parents; son Glenn M.; and 2 brothers, Richard and Rodger Geroux.
