Belvidere, IllinoisGladys Ann "Aunt Pete" Richter, 71, of Belvidere, Illinois died Thursday evening, March 2, 2006 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Gladys was born January 27, 1935 in Newberry, MI the daughter of Lee and Ella (Schieding) Douglass. She married Lester Richter on February 25, 1987 in Nevada. Gladys enjoyed sewing, painting and stenciling. Survivors include her husband, Lester of Belvidere; daughter, Lisa (David) Johnson of Belvidere; grandchildren, Heather, Matthew and Bailey; sisters, Dorothy Heimark of Wind Lake, WI, Ruth Fahrenbach of Oak Creek; brothers, Donald Douglass of Midland, MI, LeRoy Douglass of Midland, MI; nieces and nephews. Gladys is predeceased by her parents and sister, Marie Weber.

A memorial will be established in her name.
