Gladys L. Fildes, 69, of Belvidere died Thursday May 18, 2006 at home surrounded by her family. She was born November 8, 1936 in Mitchell, SD to Robert and Martha (Speck) McCloud. She attended schools in South Dakota and later married Ralph Fildes in Rapid City, he predeceased her. She enjoyed camping, bingo, traveling, gambling trips, and was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by sons: Alan (Nancy) Fischer, David Fischer, Timothy Fildes, Paul Fildes all of Belvidere, daughters: Julie Hodgkinson of Johnson City, TN, Teresa Lowery of Belvidere, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother Dale McCloud of Rapid City, SD. She is predeceased by her parents, infant son Lyle Fischer, sister: Evelyn Fischer, brothers Rolly McCloud, and Robert McCloud.
