Geraldine J. "Jerry" Sanders, 87, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully, Monday evening, March 23, 2015 in the home of her daughter after a short illness.  Jerry was born May 23, 1927 in Stockton, IL the daughter of William F. and Clara L. (Sender) Buske.  She married Hubert D. "Dale" Sanders on June 13, 1948 in Stockton.  She was employed by Green Giant in the payroll office and then she worked for Lincoln and Perry Schools as a library clerk.  Jerry attended Immanuel Lutheran Church where she worshipped with her family; and she was an active member of the circle at First Presbyterian Church.  Jerry was also a former Pink Lady at St. Joseph Hospital.  She volunteered at the Keen-Age Center and was a member of the Red Hat Society, Home Extension and the Belvidere Women's Club.

Jerry is loved and will be missed by her children, Diana Sanders, Cindy (Brad) Taylor, Melissa (Bob) Helgerson, all of Belvidere, Lori (Dave) Kubly of Rockton; grandchildren, Shaun (Sherri) Taylor, Shannon (Dan) Goodsell, Nate (Rachel) Helgerson, Ashlee (Drew) Hilton, Mandy (Brock) Behnke, Troy (Nicole) Taylor, Danielle Kubly; great-grandchildren, Jillian Taylor, Aaron Taylor, Aaliyah Taylor, Camryn Taylor, Haven Goodsell, Arra Goodsell, Jordan Helgerson, Ethan Helgerson, Gavin Behnke, Landon Behnke, Makenzie Hilton, Keaton Hilton, Kendra Hilton, Madilynn Taylor, Kennedy Taylor, Vera Kubly; many nieces and nephews.  Jerry is predeceased by her parents; husband, Dale; son in-law, Michael Rennie; granddaughter in-law Jonette Taylor; 9 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 E. Belvidere Rd with Rev. Allan Buss officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W.
