George Russell Macomber, SR, 75, of Belvidere, passed peacefully into our Father's arms, February 7, 2016. Born in Queen City, MO, George was an engineer for the Milwaukee Road railroad, and retired from CP Rail after 34 years of service. Beloved husband and father, George is survived by his wife of 55 years, six children, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Private services will be held.
