George Robert Goodall, 88, of Belvidere, Illinois, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026. He was born on September 30, 1937, to Eva Fern (Ricedorf) and Robert V. Goodall.

George was an extremely hardworking and devoted family man. He was a simple and traditional man who took pride in his family and the life he built. George especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and cherished the memories made with those he loved. His presence, hard work, and dedication to his family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

George is survived by his children, Mitch (Robin) Goodall, Tammy (Steve) Morgan, and Dale Goodall; his grandchildren, Deon (Kelly) Dinsmore, Keesha Gregory, Ashley (Donte) Martin, Nicole (Dave Nelson) Morgan, Jason,(Laura) Morgan, Brandy, and Nicholas; his great-grandchildren, Trent, Claire, Reece, Taylor, Jordan, Lola, Liko, Nate (Taylor) Cardinal, Andrew (Courtney) Ackerman, Dylin, Cira, Leo, Alexis, Maddy, Austin, Paisley, Isaiah, Kamara, Mariah, Jamari, Jeremiah, Serenity, and Chloe; and his great-great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Taj, Hazel, and Malachi.

He is also survived by his sisters, Dorothy, Gloria, and Vicky; his brothers, Gary and Larry; and his special friend, Linda.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Eva Fern and Robert V. Goodall; his wife Judith Goodall, and his siblings, Earl, Barb, Karen, and Joyce.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 West Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, Illinois. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Highland Garden of Memories.

George will be remembered as a hardworking, traditional man who loved his family and treasured the time he spent with them. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
