Geane I. Lubien, 90, of Belvidere, passed away peacefully, Monday evening, November 7, 2016 at Northwoods Care Centre, Belvidere. Born March 3, 1926 in Harrison, Wisconsin, daughter of Albert and Harriet (Schomisch) Lubien. Geane grew up in Brookfield, IL, and lived there for most of her life. She worked for Continental Insurance Company, now known as CNA, as an executive administrative assistant.

She is loved and missed by her siblings, Grace Jones, Jerry (Merilee) Lubien, Patricia Biggus, and Peggy (Paul) Folster; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Germaine, Jim, and John.
