Gary L. Lindsey, 77, of Belvidere, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Gary was born in Oakland, California on February 7, 1945 and was adopted by his mother, Isla Du Vall, and father, Lawrence Lindsey. Prior to his retirement, Gary was a hard worker who dedicated years of service to Illinois Bell and Siemens (Rome). He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his loving wife, taking fishing trips with his son-in-law and grandchildren, and working tirelessly on his many home improvement projects.

Gary leaves behind his devoted wife of 44 years, Joan Lindsey, who survives at the home. He is also survived by two daughters Tammy (Jim) Vanderborg and Michelle (Jon) Gee, and 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren who he adored. He was proceeded in death by his parents and one great grandchild, Eli Gee.
