Frank D. Macnider, 53, of Belvidere, passed away peacefully Monday morning, March 14, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Born August 19, 1962 in Chicago, IL, son of Stuart and Donna (Marcinsowski) Macnider. Frank was in the United States Army, and was stationed in Panama. He married Kathleen M. Austin on November 20, 1992 in Streamwood, IL. Frank was the Regional Fuel Manager for Gemini Motor Transport. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and animals. Frank's biggest joys in life were his grandchildren.

He is loved and will be missed by his wife, Kathy; children, Michael (Brittany) Macnider, Robert (Trista) Macnider, Michael (Carrie Frost) Luecke, and Daniel Luecke; mother, Donna Lambert; daughter-in-law, Lauren Smith; grandchildren, Craig Luecke, Abigail Luecke, Lillian Macnider, Kyler Macnider, Keegan Macnider, and Aubrey Macnider; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Deb and Tim Cheesbrough; nephews, Jake and Josh Cheesbrough; beloved four legged children, Molly, Benny, Tucker, Caramel. He is preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2016 at Saint James Catholic Church, 535 Caswell Street, Belvidere, IL, with Rev. Brian Geary officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008, as well as Friday from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
