Frank A. Leisure, 68, of Poplar Grove, IL passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 7, 2021 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. Frank was born June 9, 1953, the son of Clyde and Lorna (Allenson) Leisure. Frank married Claire Pearson on August 14, 1993 in Lake Villa, IL. For many years Frank worked as a technical engineer. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was best known for his love of helping others, spending time with family and his love for God.

Frank is loved and missed by his wife, Claire; children, Aaron (Catie) Leisure, Heather (Brian) Compton; sister, Lorrie (Jim) Skogstad; grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew. Elizabeth, Dustin and other extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott Parks and brother, John Leisure.

The graveside service for Frank will be held 12:30 p.m., Friday, October 15, 2021 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Rd., Elwood, IL 60421. Please arrive at the cemetery by 12:15 p.m. to be a part of the procession.
