Frank Bottema, 68, passed away October 2, 2021 in Garden Prairie, IL. He was born October 17, 1952 in Belvidere, IL to Frank and Kinga (nee Gergens). He was a graduate of Belvidere High School. Frank loved nature, farming and his dogs.  He was an outstanding farmer.

Frank is survived by his sisters, Elaine Ford and Linda Kirchen; 2 nieces, Debra (Rick) Skelley and Cathie (Eric) Johnson; cousin, Howard (Nell) Bottema; and his dog. He is preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Scott Ford; brother-in-law, Mike Kirchen.

A visitation for Frank will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 11:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m. at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL 61008. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Patrick Anderson will officiate. Burial will be held privately.
