Frances D. Rubert, 87, of Belvidere, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in Maple Crest Care Center following a lengthy illness. She was born on April 21, 1926 in Garrette, KY; the daughter of James and Edith (Vicars) Case. She was employed as a line assembler for Admiral Corporation, then as a waitress at Matheson's Restaurant and then a cook for Washington Junior High School. Frances married Arthur Rubert in Belvidere, July 22, 1967. She was a member of Evangelical Covenant; the Women's Auxiliary of the V.F.W. She enjoyed hunting and bowling. Frances is survived by 2 sons, William (Kitty) Brunschon and Ray Brunschon; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Schmidt and Robert (Dawn) Brunschon; 6 great grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Mary Kramer; 3 sisters, Thelma Palmer, Nancy Wright and Faye Nelson; 2 brothers, Bob (Flori) Case and Ed Case; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by parents, husband, and 2 brothers Eugene and Ralph Case.
