Forrest Samuel Salinas went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2024. Born on June 17, 2024 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL, the son of Rebecca Salinas. A small but mighty spirit, Forrest lived for 6 beautiful days.

Though Forrest's journey was short, he touched the hearts of everyone hearing his testimony. He brought joy and love into this world, connecting, mending, and restoring. He is an example of how the Lord uses the tiniest vessels.

Rest peacefully, dear Forrest. Your time with us was a precious gift, and your memory will live on in the love we carry for you always.

His memory is cherished by his mother, Rebecca; sister, Arabella Salinas; grandparents, Sam and Paula Muse; as well as numerous extended family members who loved him dearly.

He is welcomed into heaven by his 4 great grandparents.

Forrest's funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 2nd at 2pm at Anderson Funeral Home. All who were touched by his life are welcome to attend and pay their respects. A visitation will be at 1:30pm until the time of service.
