Floyie Marcell
Maloney
Jul 13, 1943 — Jul 30, 2026
Floyie Marcell Maloney, 83, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.
Marci was born on July 13, 1943, in Amagon, Arkansas, to Ben and Lillie Ford. She lived a life rooted in faith, generosity, laughter, and unwavering love for her family and community.
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Marci treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcomed and cared for. If someone was in need, Marci would gladly give the shirt off her back to help them. Her compassion for others and servant's heart was evident in every aspect of her life.
For the past five years, Marci was a faithful member of Forest City Christian Church, where she found great joy in teaching Bible study and sharing the Gospel with anyone willing to listen. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she often said that she would remain on this earth as long as God still had work for her to do. She lived each day with that purpose in mind.
Marci was known for her wonderful sense of humor. She had a unique way of telling jokes, often beginning with the punchline first; which always brought laughter to those around her. Adventurous by nature, she even celebrated turning 50 by jumping out of an airplane, creating a memory that became part of her legendary spirit. She was never afraid to speak her mind; if Marci had an opinion, you could be certain she would let you know. Her honesty was always matched by her love, making her someone that others trusted and admired.
Above all, Marci greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and unconditional love that will continue through the generations she cherished.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Chuck (Teresa) Maloney, Roy (Mona) Maloney, and Patty (Dan) Foley; her grandchildren, Rileyann (Jon) Bukowski, Kate Maloney, Shane (Mandy) Maloney, Tonya (Caleb) Cash, Jordan (Andrew) Seaton, Ally (Tyler) Campbell, Halie Maloney, Brooke (Brian) Yount, Gage (Sharon) Gwaltney, Brandon (Taylor) Heath, Molly Post, and Alex (Kendra) Foley; her beloved great-grandchildren, Rory, Fallon, Astrid, Lucille, Maxa, Ronan, Scarlett, Eliza, Gabriel, Benjamin, Trinity, Griffin, Phoenix, Raiden, Octavia, Taj, Tiana, Charles, Cole, Andie, Mariah, Anastasia, Lincoln, and Asher; her sisters, Gwen Sullivan and Joan Jacobson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Maloney; her parents, Ben and Lillie Ford; her brothers, Bob, Wyman, and Mack; and her sister, Wanda.
A visitation for Marci will be held on Wednesday. August 5th, 2026, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL, 61008, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Cremation rites have been accorded by Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services.
Though Marci earthly journey has come to an end, her legacy of faith, generosity, laughter, and love will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
