Florence A. Larson, age 96, a life long Belvidere resident went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 in Maple Crest Nursing Home after a lingering illness.Florence was born July 1, 1909 in Belvidere the daughter of Otto G. and Minnie (Schult) Koch. On June 19, 1926 she married Ellis R. Larson. Florence's greatest joys in life were her Lord, her love for her husband, her children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and friends. The memories of her life on the farm and the love of it will be cherished forever.Florence was a devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.Survivors include her children, Donald (Jessica) Larson of Plainview, TX, Robert (Wilma) Larson of Bozeman, MT and Judith (Robert) Brenner of Rockford, IL; grandchildren, Candace Azzalino, Robbin Doumanian, Leslie (Nick) Behrendt, Jan Larson, Kevin (Julie) Aves, Todd (Brenda) Aves, Pamela Larson; great grandchildren Kyle Aves, Stephanie Aves, Broc Behrendt, Britni Behrendt, Monique (Drew) Williams, Allyson Aves; great-great grandchildren, Lindsey and Colin Williams; sisters Darlene (ed) Stone, Marian (Phil) Clark, Audrey (Ted) Grenberg; brothers Albert Koch and Frederick Koch. Florence is predeceased by her parents, husband, Ellis; sister, Helen Koch, and brothers, Ellis and Franz Koch.
