Florence Marie Jordan, 83, of Belvidere died on Saturday, January 27, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 18, 1923 in Chicago to Clarence and Violet (Miller) Burnett. She graduated from Farragut High School in Chicago in 1942. Florence later married the love of her life Howard Jordan on April 18, 1953 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Belvidere. She will be dearly missed by her husband Howard, her children Kathy (Tom) Gustafson of Belvidere and Warren (Amy) Jordan of Sleepy Hollow, her grandchildren Andrew, Elizabeth, Matthew, and Jonathan Gustafson, her brother Clarence (Carolyn) Burnett, and many special nieces and nephews. Florence was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Florence's name.
